Shavehead Lake Users Guide
Travel on the lake must be done in a counter clockwise direction.
Stay 100’ from shore, other boats and rafts when traveling at a wake speed.
When pulling someone on skis or tube, you MUST have an observer. Add the length of your tow line to the 100’ rule.
There must be a USCG-approved life jacket for every person on board, as well as a throwable device, a horn, a fire extinguisher and a valid registration.
Wave runners and/or Jetskis (PWCs) should not cross within 150 feet behind another vessel unless you are at a no wake speed.
If your boat creates a wake, you have a legal responsibility for any damages it may have created.
